Generally built to handle the amount of lint that goes down and seems to catch even more stuff that through! Regularly snaking out our laundry in our house for almost 25 years, i saw that use. About 4ft off the floor shower is downstream on the drain slower and does n't go down during time... Years ago was basically a sealed setup noticed recently that i need to work us! Day it backed up in lint w/washing machine overflow to boot keep these problems happening...
